What is Host Hardening Review?
Host Hardening Review (a.k.a. Security Hardening Review or Configuration Review) is carried out to ensure the operating system is hardened and configured using the recommended settings according to industry-standard benchmarks.
The result offers insight into the hosts’ security configuration that cannot be seen from the network and allows for the remedial of configuration weakness that may make a host more susceptible to compromise.
